Poetry for reflection, poetry for action

Poetry Expo 24

With this intervention into Belarusian diaspora, we are organising a series of poetry workshops focused on the issues of collective trauma experiences by the Belarusians since 2020 and seeking for instruments of self-support, self-care and resilience in poetry. The workshops entail collective discussions about the experiences of loss, forced migration, burn-out and exhaustion accompanied by creative writing work and co-production of poetry through collages and black-out techniques.

The digital version of Rasciajenne can also be downloaded here: https://ko-fi.com/s/c5c8ba01a3. If you wish you can leave a donation of any level, and the donation will be used to cover psychological counselling for women-survivors of gender-based violence in Belarus.

Thank you for your support of the lab!

The project is part of the subthemes Mental health narratives in poetry, and Literature as a tool for social equality.
