For his video poem Dwayne Jahn created almost black and white pencil drawings in 16:9 format while he was thinking about the text. The poem starts out with a sense of uncertainty and goes on describing aspects of mind and surreal states. He then photographed the drawings for editing with his video producer. She saw the lines, strings came to mind, a double bass quartet pulling their's in rotation, each player the same 3 tones. Improvised music with improvised abstract drawings go very well together for this video poem which wants to be read in orange lettering. NO INVASION had its film festival premiere in Buenos Aires, Argentina on November 22nd, 2023 a part of VideoBardo in the National Library.
