1024

Poetry Expo 2026

1024 are poems that evoke grief, love, and death. These poems raise questions about the place of those who are widowed without ever having been married. Where does grief fit into the category of valid feelings to be cared for, respected, and even praised by society? Where is the empathy for these people who, while still alive, die there?

The project is part of the subtheme Writing After – Catastrophe, Memory, and the Archive of Loss.
